Nothing beats the tradition of going to a nearby pumpkin patch that is owned and operated by a family and choosing the ideal pumpkin to display on your front porch.
To our relief, we have made it much simpler to accomplish this. Below, you’ll discover a list of pumpkin patches, corn mazes and even a sunflower field in Boise further down on this page for you and your family to enjoy.
The Farmstead, which promotes itself as “Idaho’s most popular fall destination,” is more akin to a county fair than to the conventional image of a working farm that most people have in their minds. You can take a hayride pulled by a tractor and pick from more than 40 varieties of pumpkins and gourds at their enormous pumpkin patch. In addition, the farm features an elaborate corn maze to navigate, as well as a shorter, kid-friendly mini-maze, potato sack slides, pony rides and many other wonderful activities suitable for families with young children.
Amazing place! Both the cuisine and the activities for the children are excellent. Try one of the mini donuts; they’re delicious. The terrifying dragon was great fun! The entry fee is not too expensive. The Farmstead features a corn maze, hayrides, a pumpkin patch and a variety of games suitable for both children and adults. They offer a wide selection of large and tiny pumpkins and even permit customers to bring their own beverages. But despite the fact that it’s always a little bit busy, it’s not busy enough to spoil your wonderful time.
This fun pick-your-own farm offers a wide variety of activities, many of which can be enjoyed even after the season’s supply of berries has been exhausted. Hayrides to the farm’s pumpkin fields, where visitors can choose their own pumpkins and take them home, are available every day through October 31. In addition, there are tours of the farm available, during which visitors of all ages can meet and interact with friendly cows, turkeys, chickens and lambs and even learn how a real beehive operates. Please keep in mind that the only forms of payment accepted at this pumpkin patch in Boise are cash and checks with proper identification.
Great local produce. You are able to purchase food here before it is distributed to stores like Walmart. In addition to that, the cashiers are fantastic. The ranch was adorable, complete with tame animals to pet and a quaint play area with a few outdoor games and props. The staff was pleasant and willing to help in any way they could. The only thing that could be considered a drawback is that it is very expensive, albeit not significantly more so than any of the other pumpkin patches.
Features include:
- Pumpkins, berries, squash and other types of veggies are available for picking at the farm.
- The hayride will take you to the pumpkin patch.
- Animals used on farms, such as pigs, lambs, and chickens, among others
- Cute photo op area where you can get your picture taken with your pumpkins
This quaint 20-acre farm is the perfect destination for pumpkin pickers in search of a less congested environment in which to enjoy their activity. Take a ride out to their quaint pumpkin field, which many people believe offers the nicest views of the Treasure Valley, by hitching a ride on a tractor-pulled trailer, claiming a place on a new hay bale, and trundling out there. This is an activity that families look forward to participating in year after year because of the thoughtful touches that are included, such as warm bonfires throughout the farm to keep visitors toasty, storytelling, a petting zoo and horse rides. In addition, there are 15 acres of u-pick vegetables available on the farm this year. You have your choice of maize, tomatoes, green beans, carrots, radishes, onions, cucumbers, cantaloupe and more for just $25 per basket, and all of these vegetables and fruits are cultivated without the use of any pesticides or genetically modified seeds.
This is such a chill and enjoyable hangout, especially for the younger children. A makeshift slide, pony rides, a hay ride and other activities are available. The parking is free of charge, and the fares for transportation are affordable. There are also many opportunities to take stunning photographs of the surrounding landscape.
